    Kate,

    I read through your science lesson plan. I wounder if there is a more effective way to use technology to teach the lesson. A Promethean Board is good to share information so the class can all see it but it is not good to use if you want to engage a class in using technology. One thought that I has was that you could create web pages and include video, sound, and images of the animals. Students could then explore the pages and learn at their own pace and take some ownership over their learning. You could also have groups of students give a presentation on a certain animals.
